Industry leaders came together in Charleston as MHISC celebrated its first Legacy Club meeting, honored Best in the Industry award recipients, and tackled major topics in committee sessions at the 2025 Winter Meeting.
Here are some highlights

This year’s Winter Meeting celebrated standout professionals and companies through MHISC’s Best in the Industry awards. Honorees included Rabon’s Home Center as Independent Retail Sales Center of the Year and Oakwood Homes of Florence as Corporate Retail Sales Center of the Year. Corey Moore was recognized as Salesperson of the Year, 21st Mortgage as Lender of the Year, and Blevins as Supplier of the Year. Additional awards went to Harvey McDonald for Contractor of the Year, Clayton Oxford for Manufacturing Facility of the Year, and Ryan Swift for Manufacturing Representative of the Year.
MHISC’s committees—including Community Managers, Dealer Roundtable, Membership, Image & Professionalism, and the SC Modular Steering Committee—met during the Winter Meeting to discuss key issues and share ideas for strengthening the manufactured housing industry. Members collaborated on solutions, shared updates, and helped shape the association’s priorities for the year ahead.

MHISC launched its Legacy Club with an impressive turnout of members who’ve spent more than three decades shaping the state’s manufactured housing industry. The room was filled with familiar faces, warm reunions, and plenty of nostalgia as attendees looked back through old photographs and reconnected with colleagues from years past.
A special thank-you to all of our generous sponsors whose support made the 2025 Winter Meeting possible. Their contributions help us bring the industry together, provide meaningful programming, and continue MHISC’s mission of strengthening manufactured housing in South Carolina.

The next state meeting of the association is June 15-17 in Mrytle Beach.
