JOIN MHISC

Become a member of MHISC and explore the endless benefits of our association.
We are a member-run association dedicated to creating business opportunities for the Manufactured Housing Industry in South Carolina and beyond.

The membership includes retailers, community owners, manufacturers, developers, installers, insurance and financial institutions and the other service and supply companies that serve the manufactured and modular home industries. MHISC gives each member a voice in creating new programs and setting policies for the industry.

Member benefits include:
  • A voice in legislation that impacts our industry – MHISC is the only organization concerned with the interests of the manufactured/modular home industries in the state. We work with our members to pass or defeat legislation to keep our industry healthy.
  • On call experts to help cut red tape – Our staff works with resources to help out with county and municipal issues that impact our members. If you need help, we’re just a phone call away.
  • Free continuing education you need to renew – We offer all of our members free CE both online and in person across the state. If you have more than two licensed individuals at your business, it is literally cheaper to join MHISC than to pay for CE.
  • A spot in MHISC’s Find a Home Gallery – We give our featured retailer’s webpages an average of 200 visitors a month.
  • The best meetings of any trade association – we host over 20 meetings a year around the state that offer great networking and marketing opportunities.
  • Membership in any local association chapter – Our chapters meet to discuss regional issues, network and meet with company reps, host free CE, and put together fun events like trivia nights and golf tournaments.
  • A log in to our Members-Only Web Resources – All the facts and forms you need to do business in South Carolina available online 24/7, and a directory of contacts from every one of our member companies.
  • Access to the latest industry news – We produce three publications: Update Magazine, MODern Times Modular newsletter, and eNews.
