The event was a nice mix of facts and fun. The MHISC Board of Directors and five key committees rolled up their sleeves to develop strategies for the continued grown of the industry. They also participated in a seminar to earn an hour of free continuing education.
Next members enjoyed a Christmas dinner where the association recognized seven outstanding companies and individuals honored with Best in the Industry Awards. The group capped off the evening with some serious fun with a casino Night.
The association met December 4 in downtown Columbia.

MHISC Chair Ronnie Boyce presided over the meeting. Power couple Lynn and Todd Cook served as emcees.
Veteran industry experts Dale Lackey, Richard Bagwell and Johnny Hannah did a CE presentation based on Five Things I’ve Learned Working in the Manufactured Home Industry. Lesli Gouch, CEO of the national MHI reported on the industry’s efforts in Washington.
Dozens members who serve on the association’s committees met to tackle industry challenges, the Membership Committee, Community Managers Committee, Dealer Roundtable, Modular Steering Committee and the Image & Professionalism Committee.
