Government

Under SC law, SCMHI holds a seat on the state agency board that governs the modular industry in the State, the SC Building Codes Council.

SCMHI stays on top of what’s going on at the SC Statehouse every day of the legislative session. We believe that the only way to successfully monitor and influence state law is through a permanent, full-time, professional staff.

For questions about new and pending legislation, state law, state agency regulations or licensing, email awestmoreland@mhisc.com or nrobinson@mhisc.com You can also visit our Policy Makers page for more information.
