This Week at MHISC
December 5-9, 2022
MHISC held it’s annual meeting this week at the Francis Marion hotel in Charleston, SC. We had an amazing turnout of over 185 members including four new independent retailers. You can check out the full meeting report here and view a gallery of event photos here
Additionally, MHISC staff represented the association at the SCMHB meeting Tuesday morning where the agency discussed licensing issues.

A Productive 2019 Session at the Statehouse
The Manufactured Housing Institute of South Carolina is an active player at the Statehouse. The association works for legislation to benefit member companies, our customers, and the cause of affordable housing in our state. Among the highlights of the legislative session which ended in May was legislation and regulations to: Encourage and made it possible for families to buy a highly-efficient Energy Star home.

MHISC’s Pee Dee Chapter Hosts one of Association’s Most Successful Chapter Fundraisers
The Pee Dee chapter of MHISC met Thursday, October 15 in Florence for their first golf tournament since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over 50 MHISC members came out to participate, making this one of the most successful chapter events in MHISC history. The chapter raised over $6,000.
